The outcome from experimenting with 'mark making machine's'. I secured oil pastels, pencils and paintbrushes, one at a time in a drill. I then taped down the button and let the 'machine' do the work. After this I added things such as tape, shoe polish and ink. I used a fork to create the striking black lines. Here I was practicing mindlessness.

Again, experimenting with mindlessness art. I painted a ball of clay and threw it on the piece of paper with force. I used 'mark making machine's' again but this time I used a thick graphite pencil. For added texture I used selloptape in black and red.

Experimenting with mindfulness here. I produced a sense of touch drawing by feeling my face with my eyes closed and moving my pencil in the same direction as my finger that was trailing along my face. This was drawn on collograph, so I cut away the lines, that I had drawn, to print my collograph. The collograph was then printed over a guided meditation I had written. The aim was to feel a sense of tranquility.
Close up's of the collograph's of my sense of touch drawings.
Here I experimented with glass gutting and firing. See the next photos for the outcome.

Final outcome for a project I worked on, where I explored the taboo around menstruation and the public's perception. In the video displayed on the screen is a latex mould of a menstrual cup with a hole at the bottom to allow the frozen cube of menstrual blood to drip down the canvas.
Final outcome for a project I worked on, where I explored the taboo around menstruation and the public's perception. These are 28 resin moulds to represent the 28 day menstrual cycle. Within 7 of the moulds is my menstrual blood that is injected into the resin, that I had collected by using a menstrual cup.
